The Generative AI Playbook for District Leaders
Thursday July 18, 2024 8:30am - 9:30am EDT
TBD
Generative AI is everywhere—students, teachers, and staff are not only using it daily, but actively shaping its evolution. District leaders face a critical decision: hesitate too long to control their own AI narrative, and the district risks detrimental harm to the student learning process and increased equity gaps. On the other hand, hastily creating a top-down policy or tinkering without intentional strategy risks an endless cycle of effort with no impact—on top of risks to student learning. District leaders must shift their focus from merely trying to understand generative AI to proactively guiding how teachers and students use this technology to solve existing problems. This presentation will provide district leaders with concrete examples of how to integrate generative AI in ways that don’t just save time, but truly transform the way teachers teach and students learn.

The Generative AI Playbook for District Leaders
Thursday July 18, 2024 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT
